Highlights of Some of the Achievements
Pramod Madhwaraj belongs to the fishermen community from coastal Karnataka, and he understands their concerns. On his elevation as Minister, he strived towards making the Fishermen dream of building their fishing boats come true. He ensured feasibility certificates to all eligible applicants. Expansion of ports, dredging sludge inside the existing ports, built slipways for repairing big fishing boats, quick implementation of breakwaters, sanctioned and implemented coastal erosion protection system
Since a young age, Pramod Madhwaraj has held various responsible positions and was always keen to help and support Youth. During his tenure as Minister for Youth Empowerment and Sports, he empowered and encouraged Youth to actively participate in sports, make it a career, and fulfil their dreams by implementing the first Sports Policy in Karnataka.
Pramod Madhwaraj won people’s hearts by his kindness and selfless philanthropy through his trust named after his father, Late Shri Malpe Madhwaraj. He donates and supports economically weaker people’s marriage, education, health, and social and religious activities. The trust never collects donations from external sources; it is managed by profits earned from his business.
